(Re-done songs from every album, the ones that really shine here are the re-done songs from their old EP and the ones from "Metal Kombat For Mortal Men", I would like "The Decisive Battle" with some extra shred plzzz".)

It was bound to happen that this band was gonna get posted here. Perhaps the most popular VGMetal band right now, and for one good reason - they do it right. They don't just stick to the covers like Daniel Tidwell, they add their own flair to it, making the covers sound original. Also their last album was a TV/Movie cover album instead of their usual VG cover and it's where they REAAAAALLY cranked up their whole sound. New album coming out soon I think, start crying out of happiness now.

P.S. Fixed the "Metal Kombat" album and added their Japan-exclusive album "TV/Game Metal".

Oh Em GEE!!! Take Motionless Battle, make it less Experimental and not Space-y, add big blue balls and you have Lyode. Actually this is way different than MB, I just thought of the closest thing to this, but anyways, this is some insane shit. I hear a bit of Breakcore, Electronic, some Progressive-ness and overall just chaotic-ness. You need this, for real.

Gorgeous stuff right here. Very chill, ambient-y BUT it doesn't just stay like that, it gets pretty upbeat as well, enough to make you dance a bit or just rock out the old-fashioned way. Assured to give you a bit of Nostalgia as well.

Man oh man, is this shit insane or what? Definitely not for everyone but, if you're willing to experiment a bit with your rock/metal, then this is perfect. It has a bit of a surf-rock type of vibe and riffing and it reminds me of something you would hear on a Tony Hawk game, to be honest. Sometimes, for me, it sounds if The Fall Of Troy and old Fear Before The March Of Flames had a retarded (and awesome) baby. Yeah... this is pretty weird stuff.

Props to fsh at TheGenreSmasher for showing me these very awesome dudes. Very chaotic shit, with a side of sludgy down-tuned riffing, sprinkled with some progressive-ness on it; what more can you ask for?

Their oh, so great debut on, perhaps, my favorite record label - Relapse Records. It's like my broski fsh from TheGenreSmasher said; it's like a mix of Kylesa and Baroness with synths added. Honestly though, I enjoy this more than any album released by those bands and I love them both. The synths at times, add an epic atmosphere to it - it's fucking gorgeous. Get this if you enjoy bands like Mastodon, Kylesa, Baroness etc.

More of that gorgeous stuff I love so much. It has a very atmospheric feel to it, which is a plus for me and it's more on the Progressive side; not like Forever Orion which is more on the Melodic side. Currently writing new stuff, so get pumped (assuming you like this)!

Less chaotic than their self titled album (or EP, it must be an EP like this one) but still great stuff. This is a bit more progressive than their self titled and I guess more structured-ized (I'm not sure if that's a real word). Anyways , get this and their self titled and proceed to rape your neighbor with this.

Here it is TA-DA!! I've been meaning to post this dude's discography since I started this blog really. Why? Because for the simple fact that this dude has released over 10 albums and I love them all, making him one of my top 5 favorite artists/bands of all time. Anyways, it's like Progressive Nintendocore/Technical/Electronica/A whole bunch of shit that makes this orgasmic. Oh and it's instrumental so there's no chance for this to get ruined by stupid cleans. Seriously get everything now.

P.S. Currently on a hiatus (read:he stopped making this music) and working on other projects. Be on the lookout for them and R.I.P Motionless Battle :(.

This would've been in my big list but it's too short and it's technically a compilation of old tracks from when they were a four-piece (currently a 2-piece and I think instrumental) or whatever. This will pummel you so hard but it has these jazzy interludes that will soothe your soul. Currently writing new stuff that should come out in early 2012. Get this now seriously.

Easily my EP of the year. I strongly recommend checking first the orginal version (with vocals) cuz the dude is a fucking monster. But also check the instrumental version. People say they take a lot of influence from The Contornionist and The Faceless, but I honestly don't hear them , only the vocoder stuff from Faceless and the spacy vibe. It`s super heavy, but technical , not wanky though and some of the stuff they do will make you go "WTF is this shit? o.O" in a good way. And don`t even get me started on the breakdowns...Just get it.
