I love when I come across fresh and original "Progcore". These guys obviously know their instruments pretty well, although in my opinion the vocals could use a bit of work, but I still dig them. And the out-of-nowhere soothing instrumentals remind of BTBAM- Alaska era, and that's clearly a compliment.

Do not judge this because of the genre. It's nothing alike to the Electronic Metalcore stuff you see on Rise Records every day. This actually pretty well done Metalcore with Jazzy stuff and awesome synths (and kinda 8-Bit too, haha you know I won't fail you) without going to the cheesy techno/rave stuff.

*Drum roll* And the BTBAM award of 2011 goes to...these guys!! Their influence over these guys' sound is very apparent and normally I frown upon BTBAM soundalikes, but these guys do it so well. This is one of those albums that's much better if listened all the way through without skipping anything. Everyone's on point with their instruments (especially the guitarists) and it's very energetic, very upbeat stuff.

First of all, that cover art is amazing. The music itself is really dope, actually love this EP one of my favorites this year, really underrated it seems. I think they are still unsigned, which is a shame, this guys should get picked up by Prosthetic or Sumerian soon enough.
